About Animated Periodic Table

Animated Periodic Table is a free periodic table built to show chemistry moving: atoms that build themselves shell by shell, orbitals that fill electron by electron, and a table you can heat until it boils.

It's for middle school, high school and early college chemistry students, and for the teachers who put it on a projector. Everything works on a phone, with no sign-up and no app.

The element data comes from PubChem at the U.S. National Institutes of Health. See data sources for how each number is chosen.
